Thank you to each and every one of our funders and sponsors! Our work would not be possible without the support of organizations and individuals alike. If you would like to learn more about how to support the Early Learning Center of Aspen please reach out to us.
We all do! Studies have shown that having accessible quality childcare, like the Early Learning Center of Aspen, doesn’t only positively impact children’s development giving them the social-emotional and cognitive tools to have better overall life outcomes. The investment also benefits employers, the economy, and society. Having quality childcare that also caters to the needs of the working population, like the ELC, helps parents join the workforce, reduces employee absence, and allows businesses in Aspen to maximize their capacity. So our extended hour, year-round care contributes to the strength of the local workforce and elevates economic growth. In addition to that, the long term benefits to children, such as improved educational outcomes, social skills, and reductions in health problems and crime rates can also reduce future costs to society. Tuition income at the ELC currently covers 70% of our total childcare expenses, so we must rely on grants, subsidies, and donations for the other 30%. So by supporting the ELC’s mission, we are all contributing to the well-being of our future generation and society as a whole.

Make a Qualified Charitable Distribution
Does someone in your child’s life need to make required minimum distributions from their IRA? They could meet these requirements while supporting the ELC! A Qualified Charitable Distribution is a tax-free transfer of funds from an IRA to a qualifying charity such as the ELC with potential tax advantages. Please consult your tax advisor for more information.
